08.07.2009: Visient Client Wins Microsoft Marketing Excellence Award

CHICAGO, IL, August 7, 2009 – Visient, a marketing and design firm based in Chicago today announced that its client, SWC Technology Partners, a provider of Microsoft solutions for small and medium businesses, has won the Microsoft Central Region Award for Marketing Excellence.

The Marketing Excellence Award recognizes Microsoft partners that constantly seek to improve their processes and practices by sharing their expertise and ideas with others. It also recognizes partners that leverage and build on Microsoft’s activities to provide great value in reaching customers to help solve business problems using Microsoft technology.

Over the course of 2009, Visient has supported SWC’s extensive marketing initiatives.  During the past year SWC has held 74 educational seminars for nearly 900 Midmarket customers focused on Microsoft Solutions.

SWC was selected as the winner from a field of approximately 6,000 Microsoft certified partner firms in 18 states.  The award was presented to SWC at during Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference held in New Orleans on July 16, 2009.
